EXPO!

Yay! You did it! Expo was a huge success! The pavilions were beautiful and the parents, staff, and students were all very impressed with all the hard work and effort put into the Expo projects this year. You should all be very proud of yourselves!

The Sandlot...Interesting Facts

Mrs. McFadyen did some research after our "Sandlot" discussion on Monday. Apparently, Mr. Mertle wasn't Hank Aaron. But in Benny's dream, Babe Ruth took Hank Aaron's baseball card. Hank Aaron eventually went on to break Babe Ruth's all-time home-run record.

So who was Mr. Mertle? The photo he showed the boys was one that was photoshopped. The actor's face was put on the body of Jimmie Foxx, another Hall of Fame baseball player who played with Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig.
